FDA Refuses One Shipment of Antibiotic-Contaminated Shrimp in November
The Southern Shrimp Alliance (SSA) shared that the FDA released data on 82 total seafood entry line refusals last month, with only one involving shrimp related to the use of banned antibiotics.
The Alliance noted that through November, 55 entry lines of shrimp had been refused because of antibiotic-contaminated shrimp.
