U.S. Court Orders Temporary Ban on 9 Fish Imports From New Zealand Due to Endangered Maui Dolphins
The United States Court of International Trade released a slip opinion on Monday that granted a preliminary injunction to halt imports of nine fish species from New Zealand’s West Coast North Island inshore trawl and set net fisheries. The nine species impacted include: snapper, tarakihi, spotted dogfish, trevally, warehou, hoki, barracouta, mullet and gurnard.
