FDA Advises Against Selling, Consuming Oysters from Korea Due to Potential Sapovirus Contamination
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) released an advisory that warned retailers, restaurants and consumers to not eat or sell certain oysters from the Republic of Korea due to possible sapovirus contamination.
The oysters in question are frozen half-shell oysters harvested on February 6, 2022 from Designated Area No. II, and exported by Dai One Food Co.
