Russia May Increase Fees For Crab Catch by 8 Times This Year
The Russian government may consider cancellation of the second stage of crab quotas’ distribution, which is scheduled for 2023, instead of this increasing fees for crab catch within the territory of the country by up to 8 times with the obligation for large producers to build large crab catchers.
According to Russian Kommersant business paper, such a proposal has been recently put forward by German Zverev, chairman of the Russian Association of Fish Producers (VARPE).
