FDA: 3 Shrimp Entry Lines Refused For Banned Antibiotics in July
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released July refusals and according to the data a total of 72 seafood entry lines have been refused for the month. Of those total seafood entry lines refused, three (4.1%) were of shrimp for reasons related to banned antibiotics. In addition to three lines of shrimp refused for reasons related to banned antibiotics, an additional entry line of shrimp was refused for the presence of pesticides and there were 10 additional entry lines of shrimp refused for the presence of salmonella...
