ANALYSIS: June Shrimp Imports Edge Higher
June U.S. shrimp imports were released today and showed a slight gain compared to last year. The 169.422 million pounds were up 0.8 percent compared to June 2021, and while it was only marginally higher, it restored the import market back on trend. This reversed the surprise of lower shrimp imports in May.
