ANALYSIS: Frozen Mahi Prices Hold Steady as Asia Faces Production Struggles

The latest May import numbers indicate that YTD per season (Oct. 2021-May 2022), total frozen mahi imports from all countries stand at 43.4 million pounds; a 38.66% increase compared to this time last year. The majority of this import volume originated in Central and South America (C&SA) with Peru being the leader, shipping 19.6 million pounds YTD per season, while Ecuador shipped 11.22 million pounds.
