Vermont-headquartered Tropical Aquaculture filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on June 30.
Chapter 7 bankruptcy means Tropical will immediately halt operations and have its assets liquidated. The company was founded in 1995 and had an office in Maine.
