The Gulf of Mexico Reef Fish Shareholder’s Alliance shared its thoughts on the Biden Administration, saying that recent moves made by it have punished commercial fishermen in the Gulf of Mexico.
According to the Alliance, which represents commercial snapper and grouper fishermen in the Gulf of Mexico, said fishermen were “cautiously optimistic” when Biden took office, citing its pledge to “follow the science, to prioritize conservation and ecosystem health, and to ensure fairness and equity.”
