Chilean Salmon Council Says Employment Grew in Q1 After Drop Due to COVID Impacts
The Chilean Salmon Council (CDS) published its latest “Employment Report” which found that on average, the member companies of the Council, which represents just over half of salmon production in the country, employed 1.6% more people than in the same period last year.
The report is delivered quarterly and is based on information reported by the member companies of the trade association and “seeks to quantify, characterize and publicize the trends in jobs created in Chilean salmon farming,” per a translated news release from the group...
