Scottish Salmon Company Takes on New Name: Bakkafrost Scotland
The Scottish Salmon Company (SSC) announced on June 21 that it will rename its operation in Scotland to Bakkafrost Scotland.
SSC was acquired by Bakkfrost in 2019 and the corporate focus of the company for the past two years was to “align the businesses and develop its core capabilities in Scotland.”
Bakkafrost said the renaming will help ensure that its Group operates as “One Company” with two regions of production.
