Russia Increasing Domestic Output of Pollock Products
Russia is actively increasing domestic output of pollock products as the demand for them is steadily growing both in the domestic market and abroad.
As Alexey Buglak, head of the Russian Pollock Association, said in an interview with the Russian Fishnews magazine, the biggest growth this season was observed in case of pollock fillets, which output has grown by 50% compared to the previous year. A significant growth was also observed in case of mince and surimi, made from pollock.
