Coast Guard to Partner with Indigenous Communities to Improve Marine Safety
Canada’s Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, the Honourable Joyce Murray, announced $2 million in funding that will be made available through the Indigenous Community Boat Volunteer Program to buy boats and related safety equipment for 10 communities.
