Silver Bay Seafoods to Pay $467K Fine for Water Quality Violations
Silver Bay Seafoods was hit with a $467,469 penalty by the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) for water quality violations at its Naknek River facility in Bristol Bay.
The DEC said Silver Bay Seafoods also agreed to take corrective actions in response to its violations of their Alaska Pollutant Discharge Eliminations System (APDES) permit.
