Over 87% Of Snow Crab Quota Caught in Gulf; 71% Caught in NL

The quota in the Gulf of St. Lawrence is nearly caught. According to preliminary data from the DFO, as of June 7, 87.66% of the quota has been landed.
The initial quota in the Gulf was set at 28,065.198 MT, and revised to 27,951.588 MT. A total of 24,503.006 MT has been caught, with 3,448.582 MT remaining.
