Japan: April Imports Turned to Increase After Three Months, From Russia Kept Rising
According to the April preliminary trade report released by the Ministry of Finance on May 19, imports of fish and shellfish (excluding non-edible marine products) increased for the first time in three months. The value increased significantly due to the rise in procurement costs. Imports from Russia continue to be high, more than double last year, reported Suisan Keizai.
