NOAA Fisheries Wants “Diverse” Nominations for IPHC and 7 other International Commissions
Nominations are open today for two members of the U.S. Pacific halibut industry to serve as commissioners on the International Pacific Halibut Commission based in Seattle. The current commissioners, Bob Alverson of the Fishing Vessel Owners Association and Richard Yamada of the Alaska Charter Association, may submit their names as well. Nominations will be accepted through July 8, 2022.
