Seasonal Snow Crab Grid Closures Announced in Gulf of St. Lawrence Following NARW Entanglement

A search is underway for an entangled North Atlantic right whale that was spotted on May 19 near Gaspé, Quebec.
Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) announced last week that they are trying to locate the whale, who has been identified as Sundog, a 14-year-old female that was last seen near Cape Cod, Massachusetts, in March.
