FFAW Pushes Back On St. Mary’s Crab Plant Opposers With Their Own Facts
FFAW-Unifor wants to present their facts when it comes to the proposed crab plant in St. Mary’s.
As SeafoodNews previously reported, plant workers have voiced their opposition to the proposed new fish processing capacity, which would create 200 new jobs. Derek Butler, the Executive Director of the Association of Seafood Producers, released a statement this week saying that “if new processing capacity is approved, stability of the industry will come into question.”
