Australia’s Morrison Administration Commits $1.5 Million to Seafood Industry Mental Health Program
If re-elected, the Morrison Government in Australia will invest AU$1.5 million towards improving mental health support for commercial fishermen across the country, per Seafood Industry Australia (SIA).
The investment will both extend and expand SIA’s ‘Stay Afloat’ program, a national mental health pilot for the seafood industry which began through a $600,000 election commitment from the Morrison Government in 2019.
