Hokkaido March Surimi Production Slow Down in Pollock, Atka Mackerel Up 5-Times YOY
The production of land-based surimi in Hokkaido in March, announced by the Hokkaido Surimi Manufacturers Association, slowed down slightly as the mainstay Alaska pollock surimi fell significantly below the same month last year for the first time in two months.
