Japan: February Fresh Imported Tuna Sales at Toyosu Market Plummeted by 78%
Tokyo's Toyosu Market's imported fresh tuna sales in February, compiled by Jiji Press, was 106 fish, a decrease of about 78% from the same month of the previous year. There was no arrival of bigeye tuna, and the number of wild bluefin tuna plummeted to less than one-tenth, reported Suisan Keizai.
