Japan: Bid Price for Whole Scallops Rise in Hokkaido Led by Chinese Demand
The bid price for scallops for processing is rising from the JF Iburi Funka Bay Fisheries Cooperative in the Iburi area of Hokkaido. The active Chinese demand for frozen whole scallops is driving the price, reported Suisan Keizai.
