COVID-19 Still Surging in Alaska; 5,759 New Positive Cases Reported Last Weekend
Alaska’s COVID case count continues its steep trajectory up with another 5,759 new COVID-19 cases over last weekend, including a near-record of 3,083 resident cases Friday. The highest one-day count for Alaskans was 3,282 last Tuesday, 1,490 new cases on Saturday and 1,081 resident cases on Sunday.
