COVID Cases Are Spiking in Alaska, Experts Say Omicron is Fueling Spread of Virus
Last Friday a staggering 3,640 new COVID-19 cases in Alaska were reported over two days, a record surge that happened as more health care workers in Anchorage were calling in sick. An additional 3,284 cases were reported over the weekend and hospitalizations rose from 56 last Wednesday to 80 yesterday.
