Partnership to Help Understand How Fisherman Market Catch; Set to Develop Benchmark Survey
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), NOAA and the University of Maine have begun a unique partnership to improve the understanding of how U.S. fishermen market their catch.
Specifically, the partnership looks to increase understanding of the scope and scale of local and regional marketing practices across the country and to help remove barriers to direct marketing for commercial fishing.
