Latest Projection Finds North Atlantic Right Whale Population at Lowest Point in Almost 20 Years
The North Atlantic Right Whale Consortium said the population of the endangered North Atlantic right whale species dropped 8% in 2020, with an estimated 336 whales remaining, marking the lowest population estimate for the species in almost two decades.
