CDC Ends Salmonella Outbreak Linked to Frozen, Cooked Shrimp for Second Time
A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) salmonella outbreak investigation linked to frozen cooked shrimp that began in May 2021, ended on September 21.
The investigation led to multiple recalls of frozen, cooked shrimp from Thai Union subsidiary Avanti Frozen Foods and other firms throughout the summer.
