Norwegian Seafood Council Says August Salmon Exports the 'Best Ever'
Norwegian salmon exports for the month of August were the best ever, according to Norwegian Seafood Council CEO Renate Larsen.
Larsen credited high volume production and strong demand with hotels and restaurants reopening in multiple international markets.
For the month, Norway exported seafood worth NOK 9.6 billion ($US1.1 billion). The value is an increase of NOK 2.3 billion, (32%) the largest year-on-year growth ever, per the Council. The group said salmon, mackerel, clipfish and king crab contributed to the jump...
