GSA, Bangladesh Shrimp and Fish Foundation Partner to Boost Small-Scale Shrimp Farmers
The Global Seafood Alliance (GSA), formerly known as the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA), has partnered with the Bangladesh Shrimp and Fish Foundation (BSFF) to boost the country’s small-scale shrimp farmers and “revitalize” black tiger shrimp farming.
GSA explained that pre-2003, black tiger shrimp led worldwide shrimp production but was replaced by specific pathogen free (SPF) Pacific white shrimp.
