Connecticut Governor Signs Legislation Aiming to Grow State’s Shellfish Industry
Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont was joined by state representatives and officials, agricultural advocates and business stakeholders to sign a bill that will help grow the state’s shellfish industry.
The ceremony took place in Stratford, right near the Long Island Sound where the state will work to boost the population of oysters along the shoreline and protect the sustainability of this vibrant sector of the economy.
