ANALYSIS: April Shrimp Imports Surge Led By Ecuador Growth
April’s shrimp import totals were released today and continued the trend of large year-over-year gains. April 2021 imports were 134.257 million pounds versus a pandemic ravaged 113.822 million pounds last year. This represented an 18 percent increase, widening the year-to-date gap to 11.8 percent higher.
