U.S. Representative Golden Joins Opposition to Mask Mandate for Commercial Fishermen
U.S. Congressman Jared Golden from Maine yesterday joined U.S. Senators in New Hampshire and Alaska, along with fishing organizations in Maine and Alaska to urge the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to drop the mask mandate for U.S. fishermen.
Golden said he’s been hearing from Maine fishermen who have been stopped by the USCG and issued warnings in recent weeks for not wearing masks on their boats.
