Gulf Shrimp Landings Beat Historical Averages Through April 2021, Reach Highest Mark in 4 Years
The latest shrimp landings data from the Gulf of Mexico from April showed that 2.3 million pounds of shrimp were landed in the Gulf of Mexico, up slightly from 2.2 million pounds in April of 2020. That mark is 15% below the historical average of 2.7 million pounds for the month.
