AquaBounty Sells Out First Harvest of GE Salmon from Indiana Farm

AquaBounty announced that its first commercial-scale harvest of genetically engineered (GE) Atlantic salmon from its land-based farm in Indiana has sold out.
The company received purchase orders for 5 metric tons of its salmon with harvest scheduled to be conducted at the end of May. With the first harvest set to commence, the company said it will ramp production to its full capacity throughout the year.
