ANALYSIS: Gulf of Mexico Shrimp Landings 32 Percent Higher in Q1
The National Marine Fisheries Service reported March 2021 landings (all species, headless) of 2.656 million lbs. compared to 1.967 million lbs. in March 2020. This 35 percent increase is the fifth-straight month in which there was a year-over-year increase in landings.
