Atlantic Sapphire Describes Q1 as ‘Lost Quarter’ for US Biomass Growth in Operational Update
RAS salmon farmer Atlantic Sapphire said that the first quarter of 2021 was a “lost quarter” for biomass gain in the US.
The Danish company said its March 23 incident at its Miami facility that led to the loss of 100,000 fish, or 5% of its annual production was the reason behind the biomass dip.
