Maryland Governor Larry Hogan Urges Federal Officials For More H-2B Visas
Maryland Governor Larry Hogan is urging federal officials to make more H-2B visas available to help Maryland’s $355 million seafood industry and supply chain.
Late last month, Hogan sent a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Labor Secretary Marty Walsh to request a “long-term” and “permanent” solution to the labor issues that the state’s seafood industry faces every year.
