Sernapesca Audit Report Reveals Fewer Controls, But Almost Double Number of Seizures in 2020
Earlier this week Sernapesca, Chile’s National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service, released their Inspection Activity Report for 2020. The audit revealed that despite carrying out 26% fewer inspections due to the pandemic, their seizure of illegal fishing increased by 93.8%.
