Safeway Launches One-Shot Vaccination Program for Dutch Harbor Fleet This Week

Teaming up with the City of Unalaska, the local Iliuliuk Family & Health Services Clinic, Discovery Health, and fishing companies, Safeway has provided 500 doses of the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine for essential workers in the Bering Sea fishing fleet.

It’s been a tough year for all essential workers and now that vaccines are available getting them to the fishing fleet is a logistical challenge.
