Bakkafrost Reports Challenges in Scottish Operations as COVID-19 Continues to Play a Role
Faroe Island Salmon farmer Bakkafrost reported a total EBIT of DKK 88.5 million (USD 14.5 million) for the final quarter of 2020, down from an EBIT of DKK 415.3 million in Q4 2019.
Baakfrost noted struggles relating to the coronavirus pandemic including negative effects on the salmon market and challenges facing customers and international logistic issues.
