Russia May Face Pollock Shortage This Year
The collapse of wholesale prices for pollock by 35% in Russia, caused by the closure of Chinese market, led to a halt in fish supplies on the Russian market, according to recent statements made by representatives of some leading local fisherman and analysts.
Currently most of fish traders suspended signing new contracts with fishermen in Russia, expecting further price declines.
