Russian Fishing Sector on Verge of Consolidation
The Russian fishing sector is on the verge of consolidation due to the recently announced plans of the ex-governor of Primorye Sergey Darkin, the owner of the Nakhodka active marine fishing base (NBAMR) - one of Russia’s largest fish producers - to acquire its major local rival - Okeanrybflot.
These plans have been recently reported by the Russian Kommersant business paper, citing its own sources.
