One Week Before “A” Season Unalaska Renews “Hunker Down” Orders, UniSea in Partial Lockdown
Unalaska City Council will meet again today to assess risk levels for coronavirus in the island after raising it to “high” last week due to increasing cases of COVID-19. The “A” season for Bering Sea Groundfish begins January 20, 2021. Normally, this would be a time of intense preparations at Dutch Harbor’s processing plants, just across the bridge from Unalaska.
