Coast Guard Rescues 2 From Fishing Vessel Taking on Water Off Texas
The Coast Guard announced it saved a pair of people from a 68-foot fishing vessel, the Captain Jerry, taking on water near the Brazos Santiago jetties in South Padre Island, Texas, on January 11.
A notification was received by Coast Guard Sector/Air Station Corpus Christi watchstanders at 5:08 a.m. from the crew stating they had hit the Brazos Santiago south jetty and were taking on water.
