Norway-based Salmon Farmer Nordlaks Reports Potential Salmon Escape
Norwegian salmon farmer Nordlaks reported a potential salmon escape at one of its farms to Norway’s Directorate of Fisheries.
The company found a hole in one of its waiting cages following reports of local fishermen catching farmed salmon in their nets. The Directorate received that 14 farmed salmon were caught in the area. The department believes it is in connection to the Nordlaks cage damage.
