House Sends Bill Phasing Out Drift Gillnets in California to President’s Desk
The Driftnet Modernization and Bycatch Reduction Act was passed by the House of Representatives on December 10. The bill, which is aimed at phasing out large-mesh drift gillnets that are used off California.
