The West Coast Dungeness crab seasons are looking like a bad day at the airport: delay, delay, delay.
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife on Tuesday announced the commercial fishery in Central California Management Area, from Point Arena to the Mexican border, which includes San Francisco, will be delayed -- again -- due to the presence of whales on the fishing grounds and the potential for entanglement. Dec. 16 is the soonest it could open.
