JAPAN: September Frozen Scallop Exports to China, Taiwan and U.S. Decrease
According to Japan's Ministry of Finance's September trade statistics, seafood exports (seafood and its preparations and fishmeal) were down 2% year-on-year in volume and down 8% in value. Among the main items, frozen scallops were sluggish, while yellowtail fillets turned positive, reported Minato Shimbun.
