BAP Releases New Edition of Seafood Processing Standard
Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) released the latest edition of the Seafood Processing Standard (SPS), incorporating clarifications and updates for the standards applying to processors of both wild-caught and farmed seafood.
The latest edition of SPS (5.1) will replace the 5.0 version which was introduced in February 2019 and will be mandatory for all facilities pursuing certification or re-certification starting on January 16, 2021.
